PE Teacher (Pre-K to Grade 5)
Location: Seoul, South Korea
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our growing international school in Seoul. The successful candidate will teach students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5, promoting physical development, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits through engaging and well-structured physical education programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons for Pre-K to Grade 5
- Develop students’ motor skills, coordination, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Create a safe, fun, and structured learning environment
- Adapt activities to meet different developmental levels and abilities
- Teach basic skills in sports, movement, and physical fitness
- Organize and supervise outdoor and indoor physical activities
- Manage equipment, set up and clean up safely
- Assess student progress and provide feedback when required
- Maintain proper classroom and playground discipline
- Communicate effectively with homeroom teachers and school leadership
- Support school events such as sports day, field day, and special activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or related field preferred)
- Teaching certification or relevant PE training preferred
- Experience teaching young learners (Pre-K to elementary) is strongly preferred
- Ability to work with ESL students in an international school setting
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong classroom management skills
- CPR / First Aid certification is a plus
